Prediction 5k

I’m way behind, so I’ll start with these pictures from the Prediction 5k on May 21. This is an annual work event. Instead of winning, the object is the be the closest to predict your 5k time. The entire course was on the work grounds and included kids and people pushing strollers. It was a fun event, and one I hope to do again and again. Joining me, were Beth and Kersten (who were also at the New Prague 5k). Also, Jaime and her friend Kathy completed this one too! A big yippee to us all. My next 5k is scheduled for June 14. I hope to get a few training runs in before then.

Our plans for the weekend thanks to a painful case of mastitis for me and “the crud” for J. Friday, before things went awry, Ben had his end of year program for preschool. They sang Shoe fly and Wheels on the bus. It was pretty great.
I’ve been trying to get the kids out of the house a little each day, in between my marathon naps. It isn’t fair for the kids to be cooped up, and Benny is driving us a little nuts in the house.

Birthday week

Tuesday was birthday day in our house. I turned 29, but even better, Sammy turned 5 months old! It was another exciting month for BamBam. He is growing big and strong on his diet of breastmilk and rice cereal. With a little work on his balance, he will be able to sit on his own. He hates to recline now and wants to be up and watching the action. Read more

cut another tooth today! That’s right people, 2 teeth in 2 days. Poor baby.
