County fair

Last week was the county fair. Since the grounds are only a few blocks from our house, we always make it at least once. The weather was weird this year, very chilly! Usually it is sticky hot and gross. We skipped the motocross night, as it was threatening to rain. Cold and rainy is not fun. Instead, we went Saturday for dinner. Independence trip, part three

Since it almost the end of the month, I should finish up the trip from the beginning of the month. Monday, Lisa, Tammy, Amanda, Andrew, Matt, Nancy, Evie, Ben, Sam and I went to the Toledo Zoo. I hadn’t been in since I was little, and I think it is safe to say that everyone had a great, but exhausting day.

Independence trip, part two

So, Sunday Dave Sr, Delaine, Dave, Tammy, Amanda, Andrew, Mom, Lee, Lisa, Matt, Nancy, Evie, Ben, Sam and I all converged on a KOA near Toledo, OH. It was the first time in many years that we have had so many of us together, and even more exciting, the first time many had met Miss Evie. She was, of course, the bell of the ball. It was a great, laid back day of eating, visiting, chasing littles, with some beach and ladder ball thrown in. Many pictures to coming if you continue. Read more
