Jason

Jason Eagle (aka J, Bear, JR, Violent J, and Daddy) was raised in Marquette, MI before setting off for Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI where he enhanced his natural drinking abilities, met Rachel, and earned a BS in mechanical engineering. He currently lives and works in Southern MN. Jason has recently completed his MBA from the University of Minnesota and spends his newly found spare time becoming a better metalworker (fabricating art and parts). Yes, he can cut metal, but he can also cut the cheese; Jason is the welikedogs.com chef extraordinaire. In the summer (and oft in the winter too), he can be found on 2 wheels, taking the Bandit on endurance runs and bringing home trophies in various off-road races. When he finds some spare time, he’ll pick up his guitar, sit down at the piano, challenge someone to a game of chess, or tinkering in the garage.
Rachel

Rachel Eagle (aka Rachy, Sissy, Bird, and Mommy) was known as Rachel Pobocik for 24 years. She was raised in Flint, MI before setting off for Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI where she enhanced her natural drinking abilities, met Jason, and earned a BS in technical communications. She currently lives and works in Southern MN. In her spare time, Rachel is likely to be holding a baby, a breastpump, camera, knitting needles, scrapbooking supplies or a keyboard. She designs, maintains, and writes for welikedogs.com.
Benjamin

Benjamin (aka Ben, Benny, Benji, Ben-a-men, Big Brother) was born in Southern MN in October 2004. He spends his days growing, learning, and charming the pants off everyone he meets. He loves to be naked, and he loves his dogs. He is currently thriving in full-time daycare. His favorite activities are running, playing, watching George, and asking “why?”.
Samuel

Samuel (aka Sam, Sammy, Sammer Bammer, Bam-Bam, TheDeuce) is the newest member of the welikedogs.com family. He was born in December 2007. He loves boobs, being held, and chewing on his fist.
Scout

Veruca Scout (aka Scout, Scoutie, Snout, Cooter, Grumble Bum, Nanny, Miss Chevious, and Snuggler) was adopted as a puppy by Jason and Rachel in August 2003 from Paws and Claws Humane Society. She is a german shepherd mix. She was named after Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Scout from To Kill a Mockingbird. She wears size 4 underroos and is a very slow pooper. She is the alpha in our house and will not allow anyone to forget it. In her spare time, she enjoys snuggling, practicing canine agility, finding mischief, watching out for Ben and Sam, and snacking on hooves.
Rossi

Valentino Rossi (aka Rossi, Roo, Ruby, Freckle Belly, Rufus, and Bob Barker) was adopted by Jason and Rachel in November 2003. He is an American Eskimo. He was named after MotoGP racer Valentino Rossi. He wears size 4 underroos and can not hold his bladder. Rossi pees when he is excited, scared, startled, and sometimes, just because. He is the shy, jumpy, middle child. In his spare time, he enjoys getting his belly rubbed, practicing canine agility, rolling in the snow, wrestling with Scout, running from Ben, and snacking on hooves.
The 2 wheeled babies
Taking up time, money, and our thoughts, our bikes are our 2 wheeled babies. Our current collection includes:

Grizzly, a 1977 Honda CB550K. Jason’s since high school. Currently not running.
Shark, a 2001 Suzuki Bandit 1200S. Jason’s roadbike has taken him from Canada to Mexico, to Deal’s Gap, Mount Rushmore, and the track. Equipped with hard bags, an auxiliary fuel cell, and scuffed foot pegs, it is a do-it-all machine.
Baby Bike, a 1989 Kawasaki EX500. Rachel’s roadbike. Beaten, but loved.
Orange Crusher, a 2003 KTM. Jason’s bike for dual sport rides.
5-Thundered, a 2001 Honda CR500. Jason’s race machine.
