  • Lake Linden Village Recreation Area located on M-26 in Lake Linden, 906/296-9911. 20 grass sites, 9 pull-throughs; restrooms, showers, dump station, electricity, water, cable TV hookup; on Torch Lake with docking facilities, swimming beach, picnic area, playground. Nightly rates $13. Open Memorial Day through Sept. 30.
  • McLain State Park located off of M-203 in Hancock, MI. Toll free reservation line 800-44-PARKS or www.michigan.gov. 103 sites, 47 paved, 56 grass, many shaded; handicap accessible restrooms & showers, electricity, dump station; on Lake Superior, fishing, swimming, playground, picnic area. Nightly rates $19 + motor vehicle permit. Open mid-May to mid-October.
